Matt Brass

Matt Brass

Matt Brass - With an artist mother and a lot of his childhood spent outdoors and traveling, Nashville-based artist Matt Brass was destined to create art depicting the best of the great American outdoors. His “Neonaturalist “series of American National Parks and Wildernesses is an homage to the original Depression-era Ranger Naturalist Service Series, which was part of the 1930s New Deal arts project.

Matt hopes his series of more modern illustrations can revive the legacy and awareness of that original project, which were prints designed to highlight America’s natural wonders and encourage people to visit. Currently a creative director at an ad agency, Matt's work is driven by a passion for powerful communication and a love for the great outdoors.
